Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
DOES IT WORK AT NIGHT?
Our solar ventilators work from 7:30am to approximately 7pm every day, when there is a heat source. It is usually unnecessary for it to work at night, as the expelled heat from the day will help the space cool down at night, too. However, you can opt for night-time functions at a minimal cost. Just let us know!
DOES IT WORK WHEN IT RAINS?
Yes, the solar ventilator functions as long as there is sunlight.
HOW DO I MAINTAIN MY VENTILATOR?
There is absolutely no maintenance work required for it to function. The solar panel of the ventilator is cleaned when it rains. However, for the best lifespan, we highly recommend checking and cleaning its panel and fan blade every three years.
WILL INSTALLATION DAMAGE MY ROOF?
We will not be cutting a hole in the roof. Only 2 roof tiles will be removed when installing our ventilator.
Is my roof suitable for a solar ventilator?
Most roofs including metal decks, klip lock, shingle roofs, and asbestos roof tiles are suitable for ventilator installation. Unfortunately for now, we are unable to install a ventilator for RC slab and glass roofs.
Is there warranty?
Yes, the solar ventilator comes with a warranty of 5 years. Fortunately, most of its parts remain in good condition for more than 15 years! As we witness technology getting upgraded every year, we foresee that future repair/maintenance costs will only become more and more affordable.
